Ken suggested we go to this guitar event. Jessie assumes that the techno-speak coming out of the mouths of the people onstage meant something to the boys, but it was gobbledy-gook to her. (Yes, I know, fulfilling every stupid stereotype about the girl singer. Whatever.)
The highlight of the evening, however, wasn’t the guitars. It was the raffle drawing. We walked in together, received three tickets with three consecutive numbers, and yet still managed to win all three of the Fender shot glasses given away.
New rule: Whoever is responsible for shuffling raffle tickets should probably actually do his or her job instead of hanging out by the keg.
